About Debated

Debated matches you with someone who sees the world differently, gives you both a motion and starts a three-minute clock. An AI judge flags weak arguments and checks claims against sourced fact cards as you go, then names a winner. The aim is simple: to help people disagree better.

Who runs it

Debated is an independent project.

How we keep it fair

• The judge only calls a claim true or false when it matches a fact card. Every card, and the source it quotes, is on the sources page.
• Both sides are held to the same standard, and the judge scores reasoning, not politics.
• Your quiz answers are only used to find you an opponent. The privacy notice explains what we keep and why.
• Everyone agrees to the community guidelines and the terms. Debated is for adults, 18 and over.
